A Message from Dr. Zoch

“In building a relationship with my patients, I take a collaborative and compassionate approach. My goal is to understand each person not just as an individual but also within the context of their family and outside relationships. I began my private practice to allow me the opportunity to take more time with my patients. Longer sessions allow me to obtain a more in-depth history and spend more time discussing my assessment, answering questions and addressing areas of concern.

I am Board Certified in both Child/Adolescent and Adult psychiatry, which gives me the opportunity to treat patients across the life span. I love working with school-age children and teens, and I also have a special interest in the area of ’emerging adulthood’ or those people in their late teens and early 20s. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to: anxiety, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, impulse control disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and psychotic disorders.

Just as every individual is unique, every treatment plan is unique. I strive to tailor treatment to suit each individual’s needs, which may include medications and/or therapy. While I do incorporate supportive therapy into my sessions, I am happy to work with outside therapists to coordinate care.”

I am not currently contracted with any insurance companies which means my services would be considered out-of-network.   However, I will provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.   By having my practice structured this way, I am able to provide longer sessions and more therapy services than many other psychiatrists. This also  provides additional confidentiality to those patients/families who do not wish to notify their insurance companies or employers of psychiatric care.
